Our tutoring, coaching, and test prep sessions are one-on-one and take place in your home for your convenience. If we cannot meet in your home due to location restrictions, we also offer online support.

The majority of our tutors are educators and subject area experts. All have at least a Bachelor’s degree, and 87% have a Master’s degree. Before hiring a new tutor, we carefully screen them with a two-part interview, background checks, and references. Then, we provide a detailed onboarding orientation to ensure they can provide the high quality, individualized attention that families have come to expect from us. 

A great percentage of our tutors are very qualified for and experienced in working with various learning needs including AD/HD. Additionally, they are given training in proven support tools and techniques for students with learning differences. By applying their special training and expertise to the tutoring sessions, our tutors enable your child to fully reach his/her potential.

Executive Function Coaching is a unique, research-based program to help your child master the skills they need to succeed in school and life. Coaches help students learn how to get and stay organized, manage their time well, study effectively, and stay motivated, so they can better manage their academic workload.

Yes, when a student completes a test prep package of 8 sessions or more, we guarantee their test scores will increase. If this criterion is met and scores fail to increase, we will provide three complimentary sessions.

Test prep tutors assign students about 90 minutes of homework between sessions.  Homework allows students to practice both content and strategy. Completion of homework is essential to meeting or exceeding score goals. 

Our tutors are available to meet on weekday afternoons and evenings and anytime on weekends.

For efficacy and consistency, most students meet with their tutors once or twice per week. High school students and test prep students meet for 90-minute sessions. K-8th grade students in need of subject tutoring or executive function coaching meet for 60-minute sessions.

Yes. Tutors must receive your approval and written consent prior to any teacher contact. We find that it is useful for tutors, parents, and teachers to collaborate by sharing information and working toward common goals.

While we take great care to ensure this does not happen, we will respond quickly to any concern you or your child may have. We will speak to the tutor regarding your feedback, and, if necessary, secure another tutor as soon as possible.

Every student’s learning process is unique. Some students will see progress after just a few sessions, while others may take a bit longer to see results. We require a minimum of eight sessions to ensure your child receives enough tutoring support to make progress towards their goals.
