About Ann Dolin
For nearly three decades, Ann has committed her life to helping students and parents overcome academic stress and unlock potential. Starting her career as a public school teacher in Fairfax County, Virginia, she soon realized many students struggled not because of ability but because they lacked essential learning strategies. This insight inspired her to start Educational Connections in 1998 - from tutoring one student at her dining room table to building a thriving team of over 120 tutors and coaches serving families nationwide.

Ann's Journey
Since leaving classroom teaching to launch Educational Connections, Ann has guided thousands of students - including learners with ADHD and executive function challenges - toward academic success through individualized tutoring and coaching. Her company now supports learners from kindergarten through college with subject tutoring, test prep, and college planning.
