Life Skills Coaching for Young Adults & Adults

104

Practice-first coaching to build clarity, routines, and independence.

At Educational Connections, we help young adults and adults, including those with ADHD or autism, turn “I don’t know where to start” into “Here’s what to do next this week.”

We’re virtual by design and work on real tasks from work, school, and daily life. We don’t just talk about what to do; we do it together, live in session, then make it repeatable at home, work, or school.

Standalone or Paired: For adults taking classes, Life Skills Coaching can be paired with Executive Function Coaching for academics, or done on its own when school isn’t the focus.

Who We Help

  • Young Adults (18–25): After high school or during/after college, we help you set clear next steps, build steady routines, and follow through.

  • Adults (25+): Navigating a transition, returning to school, or want more consistency at home or work? We coach practical habits that make life work.

  • All Adults Welcome: No upper age limit. If you're looking for clarity, routines, and sustainable systems, we can help.
History and Social Science Tutoring

Coaching, not therapy.

We do not provide mental health treatment, medical/nutrition advice, or crisis intervention. With permission, we will collaborate with your providers.

What We Work On

105
  • Clarity & motivation: goals → plans → weekly actions
  • Time management & planning: calendars, reminders, simple task systems
  • Daily routines: wake-up/wind-down, personal care, home upkeep, chores
  • Academic/work readiness: email etiquette, applications, interviews, résumé basics, professional outreach (email, LinkedIn, phone)
  • Executive function: starting, prioritizing, organizing, and finishing
  • Self-advocacy & communication: scripts, practice, and confidence

Why Our Approach Works

23

Build momentum in the session. We don’t just talk about what to do later. You’ll complete your tasks then and there, so change starts immediately.

Tutoring for Students with ADHD

Small wins that stack. We pick one or two moves each week and track them (checklists/calendars) so progress is visible.

Tutoring for Students with ADHD

Simple systems you’ll keep. Lightweight routines and tools that fit your real life. No complicated apps required.

Accountability with care. Warm, non-judgmental coaching that meets you where you are and keeps you moving.

35

Measurable outcomes. Before/after screenshots, submitted applications, completed checklists. Proof you can feel and see.

While I will always have a neurodivergent brain, I no longer feel confined to mediocrity in managing it. Your service has been a genuine life-changer, and I wanted you to know how grateful I am.

How Coaching Works (Our 3-Step Plan)

1

Free consultation: Discuss the best fit coach (all trained educators/EF specialists).

2

Meet once or twice per week (1:1): Virtual sessions anchored in real tasks; micro-goals between sessions.

3

Measure: We track small wins (checklists, calendars, before/after screenshots) so progress sticks.

Included: Virtual one-on-one coaching sessions, shared action plan, reinforced practice, and optional check-ins between sessions.

Not Included: Therapy, diagnosis, medical/nutrition guidance, emergency/crisis services.

How often are sessions? We typically meet once or twice a week. Twice weekly is ideal early on to help new strategies stick.
