How to Use Virginia’s Learning Acceleration Grant for Your Child

Educational Connections has been selected as a provider for the Virginia Department of Education's K-12 Learning Acceleration Grant. Governor Glenn Youngkin launched this program to support families living in Virginia dealing with the pandemic's lasting impacts on their kids' education.

Like the governor, we here at Educational Connections are concerned about the pandemic’s lasting impacts on learning in combination with the annual summer slide. Research shows that students can lose 2 ½ months of academic gains during summer break if they don’t engage in academics.

Here's the best part...

Parents of school-age children can receive grants for $1500 or $3000 for tutoring services. There are no income requirements or caps for the smaller grant.

Your family can qualify if you live in Virginia and your child attends K-12 public or private school or is home-schooled.
