CAREER COACHING FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS
Helping College Students Build Confidence, Gain Direction, and Prepare for Life After Graduation
a familiar story
Your student is working hard in college.
Attending classes, completing assignments, and earning credits. They’re checking all the boxes.
But when it comes to internships, networking, career exploration, and actually planning for life after graduation? That's where things get murky.
Many students know they should be taking steps toward their future. They just don't know where to start, what to prioritize, or how to stay consistent once they do.
Our Career Coaching for College Students program helps teens and young adults cut through the noise, build a clear plan, and develop the skills and confidence to make a real transition from college to career.

the real work begins
What Our Career Coaches Help College Students With
Every student is different, so coaching is tailored to what your student actually needs. That said, here are the areas we typically work through together:
a different kind of support
More Than Traditional Career Coaching
Many career centers and programs hand students a resume template and generic advice and send them on their way.
At Educational Connections, we know it's rarely that simple. Students often know what they need to do. The harder part is actually doing it, especially when they're also managing classes, stress, and everything else college throws at them.
That's why our career coaches work at the intersection of career guidance and executive function support.
Your college student will work with an experienced career counselor who has guided students through every stage of the job search process, from resume strategy and LinkedIn optimization to interview prep and targeted job searching, with hands-on experience helping students use AI tools to strengthen their applications (and get past those automated screeners!) in today’s competitive market.
It's not just about what to do next. It's about helping students build the habits and confidence to actually follow through.
for every kind of starting point
Who We Work With
Our Career Coaching program is a good fit for college students at any stage:
1
College freshmen starting to explore what's out there
2
Sophomores and juniors preparing for internships
3
Seniors getting serious about graduation and the job search
4
Students with ADHD or executive function challenges
5
Students who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or just not sure what to do next
A Note on ADHD and Executive Function
Educational Connections has been supporting students with ADHD since 1998, helping them get more organized, manage their time, and actually reach their goals. That experience doesn't sit in a separate program. It's built into how we coach.
Our Career Coaching works well for students with or without ADHD. But for students who struggle with follow-through, getting started, or staying consistent, the combination of career guidance and executive function support tends to make a real difference.
the power of starting now
The Earlier College Students Start this Process, the Better
Students don't need to wait until senior year to start thinking about their future. In fact, the earlier they start, the better positioned they'll be to find the right fit after college.
Starting early gives students time to build meaningful experiences, land internships before graduation, develop professional confidence, and actually enjoy their final year instead of scrambling through it.
