Reading Tutoring
Creating the Foundation for Reading Success and Enjoyment
Children of all ages can struggle with reading. We offer a broad range of DC reading tutor services to students experiencing difficulty with decoding, fluency, and/or reading comprehension. Our reading tutors are committed to encouraging the enjoyment of reading and view this as a central element in reading improvement and success.
For students who would benefit from more intensive reading tutoring, we offer instructors trained in specialized, research-based reading programs. These programs take a systematic, multi-sensory approach to improve reading accuracy, speed, and comprehension. The programs validated by research we use include:
