Stay Ahead with Summer Tutoring

Studies show students who work with a tutor over the summer months are more likely to succeed in college than those who don't. Stay ahead with a summer tutoring package!

Tutors create and customize a learning program that is specific to your child's needs. Sessions can include reading to succeed, math mania, write away, and study skills! All sessions are in home, one-on-one, and based on your summer schedules.

School stops in the summer, but your child shouldn't stop learning! Get a tutor here or visit our website for more details on the summer tutoring package.

Meet our Tutors: Jan Rowe

Jane Rowe is our Tutor Manager and has been a tutor with Educational Connections for 2.5 years. Jan has a degree in Accounting and Education and has a Teaching License for grades K-8.

Jan's favorite part of being a tutor is seeing the students proud of themselves. She says, "When they run to the door to show me an A on their test, it is the greatest feeling. You can see so much happiness in their face and they know that they can achieve great results!"

Her favorite books for summer reading include The Day The Crayons Quit  by Drew Daywalt, Max by Jennifer Li Shotz, and Wonder by Raquel J. Palacio.

When working with your kids on summer learning, Jan says, "Continue to plan. Start with a month calendar and have your child write in their summer activities along with their math, reading, or writing assignments. Also have the students write a to-do list daily. This will help students stay in the routine of planning over the summer and make it easier to continue planning during the school year."
