I keep forgetting to post something, but I just wanted to let you know how happy we've been with our tutor, Dawei, this year. I want to give a huge kudos to the company for finding him. He was able to connect with my son and get him to genuinely like science again. We're sad to lose him next year but wish him the best of luck in med school! We can't wait to get another one of EC's great tutors in place. Thanks so much, you've made this year so much easier!

My daughter recently got her SAT scores after working with John for several months. Overall her score went up by 150 points which she and I are happy with considering that her diagnostic score was already a 2100. John was highly professional and knowledgeable. The tutoring sessions were relaxed but John was able to establish a strong accountability from my daughter which I really appreciated. Overall, we are very happy with the service.

Our first tutoring session was great! Sam thinks Ross is good at helping him understand some of the concepts. Ross was a great choice and we look forward to continuing to work with him!

I can’t say enough good things about the work that Annie has done with Katherine. I was impressed from the very beginning by Annie’s professionalism and her sincere care for my daughter’s success in school. I very much appreciated that she put a great deal of effort into planning her sessions while remaining flexible in case Katherine ever brought up something unexpected. I always knew pretty much what next week’s session would entail and loved getting the weekly progress reports which gave insight into the specific skills that Annie saw improving. It was obvious to see Katherine’s motivation and attitude toward school improve over the course of the 12 weeks they worked together. Annie is one of the many things we will miss when we move at the end of the school year.

The tutor you assigned us for the boys, just left and he was great! The boys first experience with a tutor was awesome! They both enjoyed him and felt like it was helpful. Thank you so much for your help and time in picking a good match.

Chris has been absolutely terrific and Kyle and I have been very pleased. Chris has been very accommodating on meeting with Kyle on Sunday due to his tennis during the week. I would be happy to recommend Chris or your company to any of your parents. Thank you so much for your help in getting Chris here on short notice last month. He has helped Kyle very much over this short period.

The tutor, Jason, you selected to prepare my son for his SAT has been phenomenal. I have not seen many people get through to my son the way Jason has. My only complaint, if you can call it that, would be that I think you should offer more proctored practice tests. As the EC staff and Jason stressed, simulated tests are the best tool to measure progress and figure out what needs the most focus. While it was fine to have my son take practice tests at home, I would have liked to have more opportunities for my son to take proctored tests.

We love her Shayda! She is doing exactly what he needs - helping him learn how to approach the material, figuring out his weaknesses, and making sure he is learning it as she goes along. He is really responding to her approach!

Thomas is exceptional and a fantastic fit for my son. We are very grateful for his coaching and the fact the he never gives up and continues to push even when the resistance is very strong!

I think we have a winner! For the 1st time, my daughter wanted the tutor to come back. To quote: ‘I learned more in the last hour than I have all year.’ Thanks for all your help!!

I am very grateful for Tung – he has been a tremendous help to my daughter with her precalculus class. His explanations are clear and consistent which is exactly what she needs. I am optimistic that she will get a B or higher in math class this year for the first time in many years. Cheers!

Our tutor Charles was great! He was professional and able to work with Mallory without being aloof or condescending. He addressed Mallory's concerns, talked to her about test taking strategies, gave her some specific tasks to do to prepare, and gave her some great pep talks. It was just what she needed!

Tina was such a great help for Daniel. He is now a senior in high school and we are in the final college push. So far he has been accepted to two colleges.

Jenny is great! She and Cameron seem to work very well together - I was very pleased/impressed how much they were able to accomplish during the hour and 1/2 session. I could tell that Cameron was understanding her instructions and things seemed to "click". We look forward to seeing Jenny again next Monday.

Our tutor is extremely professional and well versed in Algebra II which is what we were looking for. Though I would like to have noticed improvement in my son’s grades by now (3 weeks into tutoring), I understand that it takes time. We’re still a bit early in the process – I’m very hopeful that things will turn around now that we’ve got Tim.
