Meet the best HSPT and ISEE tutor in Northern Virginia and our January Tutor of the Month: Jon W!
When we had to pick our January Tutor of the Month, we were looking for someone who went above and beyond frequently throughout 2014. Instantly, Jon came to mind. Jon W. is one of Educational Connections top test prep tutors, working with students on the ACT, SAT, SSAT, HSPT, and ISEE. Additionally, Jon has helped several students with English, Reading, and Writing. Jon has been described by parents as “patient and positive.”
Jon graduated from the University of Chicago with honors, and has a Master’s degree from American University, where he also completed doctoral coursework in sociology. He has been tutoring for over 30 years and has over 15 years of experience teaching graduate and undergraduate courses. Jon enjoys helping students master the core concepts of their subject material and develop problem-solving strategies and skills. When he is not tutoring, Jon enjoys volunteering, music, film, writing poetry, (he is a published author of two books), and spending time with his Belgian Shepherd, “Sebastian.”
