Children of all ages can struggle with reading. We offer a broad range of reading tutor services to students experiencing difficulty with decoding, fluency, and/or reading comprehension. For students having reading, writing, and/or spelling difficulties we often encourage an evaluation to better assess the student's needs and a baseline from which to monitor progress.

Our Washington DC area tutors are committed to encouraging the enjoyment of reading and view this as a central element in reading improvement and success.  We maintain an open line of communication with the schools and talk with teachers whenever necessary and/or appropriate.

For students requiring more intensive intervention, we offer reading tutors trained in specialized reading programs.
